I never really believe in ghosts though i think i have seen 1 before. But i decided to change my mind after a ghost stories sharing session with my family over dinner on Father's Day.
Recently, my uncle told my mother that he almost jumped to his death because of this encounter. It happened in Malaysia when he and his partner decided to visit a factory that had been abandoned for some time, in view of buying it and completing the construction work. The moment they stepped through the door, his partner saw a human head flew past them into a nearby toilet. Maybe he was too scared, or maybe he can't believe his eyes and he didn't utter a word. Anyway, my uncle did not see anything. So they looked around and entered the toilet. There it was, on the ceiling staring at him..
Along the corridor, suddenly a cobweb dropped before them blocking their path. There was a spider with red legs hanging. They quickly brought it to the ground and stepped it to realised it was a puddle of water. Moving on, the same thing happened again and at this point, the partner decided it was enough and was too scared to carry on. So he told my uncle that he don't want to see anymore and went out. My uncle, oblivious of the danger, went up to the 2nd storey where he found a lot of the similar cobweb so he decided to go straight up to the 3rd storey. A few steps forward and suddenly, a lot of cobwebs flashed before his eyes. The spiders were hugh with red legs.
Something was really wrong this time, he turned around to run and then realised he was surrounded by cobwebs behind as well. He ran toward a window and looked down. There was a rubbish chute below with sharp wodden stakes in it. At that point of time, he was too frightened and nowhere to run, he said he wanted to jump down already. That would probably be the end. With god blessing, he saw a scaffold along the wall, climbed out and scrambled down.
Later they consulted a monk. They were told that the factory has been abandoned for some time and became a sanctuary for dirty things. They should have invited 'them' out before entering and as a result, they tried to stop my uncle and his partner. It really very spooky because i know that my uncle is someone who doesn't lie. Furthermore, 2 persons seeing the same thing is just too coincidental.
The next story i will say i have to believe it. My younger brother is serving as a sergeant in the 4th BMTC school in Tekong where the old Sispec lies. They say it is very haunted there. One night, one of his recruit woke up and saw a person sittig on his bed. He was scared out of his pants and shouted as loud as he could. The worse part is that his bunk mates all woke up to see the same thing and screamed running down to report to my brother and other staffs. How unbelievable and yet convincing it sounds.
My brother's friend got another experience himself. One night he woke up to see a woman standing at the window. He was probably too sleepy and don't quite bothered about it. So he turned around to face the other direction. There it was standing beside his cupboard, and again he turned around ignoring it. To his horror, it was sitting on his bed now. He quickly got up to switch on the light and ran out. My younger brother also woke up one night hearing a female voice calling his name. Gosh.. I just wondered how haunted and eerie one single place can get.
All this while, i have been hearing stories through the words of mouth, past down from one person to another which i don't quite believe. But all of a sudden, i heard so many 1st hand encounter from my family and i just ran out of breath. Thinking about it, i still feel kind of spooky.
